What is a makeup slip? How do I get one?
Full club members are eligible to obtain make up slips for contracted ice sessions that will be missed. A makeup slip allows our skaters to skate on any other Cape Ann session during the season, without having to pay the walk on fee. Makeup slips need to be requested before the session missed. To obtain one, you should email skatecapeann@hotmail.com Please include the name of the skater, date and time of missed session.
How do I get credit for my volunteer hours?
Full club member families are required to volunteer at least 10 hours during the skating season, 2 of those hours must be with our Learn to Skate program. A volunteer fee of $100 is paid by all full members at the beginning of the year and will be credited to your account once your volunteer requirement is completed and approved by a board member. The $100 volunteer fee is waived for new members for the first year. To receive credit for your volunteer time, please fill out a volunteer voucher, have it signed by a club board member and place in the completed voucher folder in the warm room.
